Wedding hair accessories

For the perfect wedding hair ‘do, add a little sparkle with a stunning bridal hair accessory. There are endless options for the modern bride which can sometimes be overwhelming but to help make your task a little easier, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite go-to bridal hair accessories.

Hair combs

One of the most popular choices because brides can simply slip it in their hair. Hair combs work brilliantly well with up-dos and when hair is down and swept to the side. It can also sit on top of a veil and add an extra bit of sparkle. Hair clips also work similarly.

A perfect hair accessory for a bride that doesn’t want too much fuss. Headbands are a popular fashion accessory so if you wear one regularly, this is a great way of extending your style to your big day! Headbands can vary from soft and subtle to embellished and ornate and if you don’t want to wear it the entire day, you can simply slip it off causing very little mess to your hairdo.

Think less ‘My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’ and more ‘Lady Mary in Downton Abbey.’ A tiara can create a beautiful classic look. Depending on your style of dress and theme, you can pick a dainty one for a traditional look or something a bit more glamorous to make a statement.

Flower crowns and garlands

A simple flower woven or tucked into an up-do can work wonders especially if you’re having a rustic or garden wedding and they can even match your floral decor and colours. Hair crowns are a popular choice and we love the idea of flower girls wearing ones (think Kate Moss's flower girls). Wear with your hair down for a soft, romantic boho vibe.

Hair vines

Bridal hair vines are the more elegant version of flower crowns and garlands. Hair vines can be bent and manipulated into different shapes to work with any hairstyle but we think it looks best twisted around a bridal bun. For more of a boho look, it can even be worn across the forehead.

Hair pins

An easy, practical accessory to give a simple, understated look. Pins are so versatile they can be scattered across the hair and pinned into up-dos very easily.
